Easy to install, product is intuitive, and lighting on knobs/under unit are awesome. One element that is lacking is the back hi g design. This unit is designed to be built in, and as such costs 4x what a normal Blackstone unit does. The hinge configuration creates a gap on the back edge which is not an ideal transition to your top. Back hinge placement also causes the front of the lid to wobble a bit when opening and closing. Small detail but big one when building a high end outdoor kitchen. Like every grill I've ever used, some spots are warmer than others. It takes a bit of experimentation. Some times this is an advantage. Move thinner cuts to the sides and thicker cuts nearer the back of the grill to get all to cook evenly and be done at the same time. The axillary side burner heats a bit more slowly than I'd hoped. This little grill is a powerhouse. This is my first gas grill. It's just me and sometimes family and/or friends so I don't need anything huge. It's so easy to set up. Unzip the cover, lay it down, release the latch, and pull the lever while lifting straight up. Just screw in the 1lb tank (I think you can get an adapter to use a 20lb), turn on the burner and push the ignite button. Very simple!! Breaking down is just as easy with hydraulics to let it collapse easily. Looking forward to getting the griddle and using for breakfast at times. Flame is easy to adjust and cooks evenly.. Donnab26.
