As a 1st time user of gas, I am impressed with how efficient it cooks. I love the design, the larger griddle and the modern look.

Great product, however, the knobs are Plastic. They have a SS finish but made of plastic. So it melts when gets in contact with hot vessels. Alternate parts expensive.

I purchased new house from builder and all my appliance are GE but after few days the Gas Stove knobs melted all ! Even They look like stainless steel, but apparently they are made of plastic. I'm very disappointed with the quality of this product

Scratches easily and the knob melted when burner was on high.

The range cooks very well, My issue is with the quality of the knobs. They are made of plastic and melt. I would rather pay up for some actual stainless steel knobs. If I purchase replacements will they also melt? Also, the black lettering has come off the cooktop. For these reasons I do not think I can recommend this rangetop. I have other GE profile appliances that I am happy with. When we built our house I was excited to get all GE profile applicance.

I absolutely love this cooktop, it replaced a 45 year old 24” top. This is sooo nice. Plenty of room for multiple pots/pans at the same time. Much easier to clean, just really nice to have and use.
