[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having cooked on this new cooktop for 6 weeks, I can happily report that I am enjoying it more than I did my Dacor (on which I experienced a scary igniter failure). Some of expressed concern about the arrangement of the burners and their BTU levels, but that is magic in my view. There is so much customization available that it takes a bit of time to readjust what to cook where -- but that's part of the fun in my opinion. The "stops" that exist between levels of flame, as well as the numbers assigned to each, make it easy to remember what number flame to use next time for that purpose. The only worry I have is scratches because the installer caused one near that simmer burner while setting the cap on and of course now that is there forever, sadly. I had to wait for this model to return to inventory, but the wait was worth it. Highly recommend this Bosch Benchmark model for its beauty, sure, but also for its performance and ease of use!

The grates feel substantial without being overly tall, and the continuous stainless‑steel surface makes cleaning incredibly easy since the burners are fully enclosed. In terms of performance, I tend to rely on the higher‑BTU burners. They heat quickly and work well for most of my cooking. The lower‑BTU burners, however, take noticeably longer, so I don’t find myself using them often. One small inconvenience is that I have to push down the knobs twice to ignite the flame, which isn’t a deal‑breaker but is worth noting. Overall, it’s a stylish and easy‑to‑maintain cooktop with strong high‑heat performance, but a couple of usability details could be improved.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like quality of this cooktop. I purchased it because I know Bosch has always produced top-notch products in my chosen price range. In particular, I really wanted metal knobs. So many cooktops I looked at had plastic knobs. I also appreciate that this cooktop has excellent pads on the grids. My old one had very small pads that tended to shift around, and I had to be extremely careful to replace them carefully after cleaning or they would scratch the stainless steel. I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I wish the simmer burner was located at the back of the unit instead of the front, since I don't use it very often. That is ony a minor issue for me, however.
