Overall, this is perfect for my needs. There are a couple of downsides. A little difficult to changes temperatures. The feature I thought I would love (but actually don't) is that you don't see a definitive line where the pot goes. Now I'm wishing I could see it just a bit better. It's hard to find 24", but this is very low profile and simple, which is what I wanted.

5 weeks after install and using maybe 20 times to build water it broke!! Just stopped working. An error code flashing. Zline didn't bother to tell me how or why 8t broke or what the code means. Of course it's under warranty so they sent a new one, legally they must. However, they refuse to pay for an electrician to come remove the current cooktop and install the new one! Tell me disposal is also my problem (living in a condo you cant just throw thia in the dumpster. So i have to pay $200 to a junk service!!) Plus, i had a $40k sustom kitchen built around this cooktop , including $5000 marble granite countertops that were cut specifically for this product.Now I am supposed to incur the cost of removing the defective product that they sold me, and having to incur the expense once again for an Electrician to hardwire it? This is a horrible product. I would never recommend it. Go to Home Depi and buy something from a known brand. Zline sucks.

we are once again experiencing issues with our induction burner. We have had it replaced once already and had to have an electrician come out 3 times to replace it. We are again getting an error 6 message. The guide says that this should cool on its own but it has been 2 days and we are still getting the error message
