I love this clock! It has 2 ways to play the chimes and both are nice. It’s only a matter of preference and can easily be switched back and forth. Also it has a volume switch in case your spouse and children aren’t as great fans as you are. It can be silenced . I love that it uses batteries no worries about overwinding.. Vicki. Poulsbo, WA. A bit dissapointed with quality and heft of metal, but looks Ok when mounted on wall. Even on sale, a bit expensive for quality.
