[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this the other day and used it for the first time this evening, August 27, 2025. It really helped with charcoal organizing, air flow, and cleanup. You’ll be reluctant at first when you see the price. You may even consider purchasing a less expensive alternative… Don’t. I took a chance, trusting the quality of the other products from Kamado Joe and honestly had to laugh when this arrived. The images don’t do it justice and when you retrieve it from it’s careful packaging, use two hands. The basket is fabricated out of ~1/4” stainless rod and will be remaining long after we die. You need to season it first like cast iron, but I'm my opinion it works better than cast iron.
