I have several stove top smokers. This is one of them. It does a good job, you just have to insure the wood chips (make sure they are real fine) don't get wet from the juices. A little foil on the bottom with the ends turned up will do the trick. I smoke salmon regularly for my wife. Since I cook on an induction top, this smoker makes good contact with the hob and works efficiently. You will have to experiment to get your desired smoke flavor.. Jtom4cats. I already did this review on the first skillet that I received.. the first one arrived looking like it had been through a hurricane. The shipping box was fine, but the actual box that the skillet was in, was a mess! It was filthy dirty, smashed and torn . The skillet was scuffed, but it still did a nice job cooking.
