I was actually sent the wrong size pan but Fissler fixed the issue quickly. It is my first time buying a stainless steel pan instead of non-stick. I am impressed and wonder why I didn't use one before! As long as you follow instructions, even salmon fillets won't stick to the pan. The Demeyere Belgian Steel Frying Pan is an excellent cooking utensil. The handle is long and stays cool so handling the pan is easy and safe. I do use coconut oil for frying eggs at middle stove temperatures with great results and a Silicon spatula to preserve the stainless steel surface. We really like our new fry pan. It is the nicest non-stick fry pan we have ever owned. We can cook long pieces of bacon along with eggs and potatoes at the same time.
