An avant-garde icon of revolutionary kitchenware, the Juicy Salif citrus squeezer—designed by Philippe Starck—transcends utility to become a sculptural masterpiece. Crafted from mirror-polished, durable aluminum, its biomorphic, spider-like legs provide an elevated clearance, allowing juice to flow directly into a glass placed beneath its tapered core. This unforgettable form was famously conceived by Starck on a pizzeria napkin during a seaside holiday in Italy, capturing a moment of pure, spontaneous genius. As much a centerpiece of modern art as it is a functional tool for lemons and limes, the Juicy Salif remains a provocative anchor for the contemporary kitchen.

Solid stainless steel and excellent workmanship have gone into the slicer. Its working parts are firmly cemented to create an extremely sturdy and durable cheese slicer. Because the steel is partially matte, this results in an intriguing contrast of shiny and matte surfaces. The slicer remains an attractive eye-catcher even when simply hanging from a kitchen rail. The loop integrated into the handle is sized to easily fit a wide range of hook sizes. The handle also sits perfectly in your hand thanks to its ergonomic design. This makes using the slicer even easier. The slicer makes slicing even hard cheeses particularly simple. And once you're done using it, simply put it in the dishwasher for cleaning.

I'm glad I purchased the Henckels Cheese Slicer. My cheeses are much happier now that I can make a smooth slice without bruising their skins.
