Coffee & Espresso Machines

A revolutionary and modern espresso machine that combines the coffee-perfecting technology developed by illycaffè and the design experience of Alessi. Designed by architectural visionary Michele de Lucchi, the Pulcina Espresso Coffee Maker encapsulates a small but substantial design innovation that stops dispensing the drink at the right time before the coffee gets a bitter aftertaste. This helps to enhance the full and rich aroma of your espresso. The spout, which recalls a chick's beak (hence the name of the coffee maker - ""pulcina"" = ""chick"") allows it to perfectly stop the drop. The Alessi Pulcina is an inventive evolution of the traditional coffee pot. Available with black or red handles.

This should be the last coffee brewer you'll ever buy, one that should last a lifetime, when cleaned and descaled properly. You may ask – “What's important when searching for that complex, clean, crisp, fully infused, flavorful cup of coffee?” Certainly coffee quality, grind, and formula play an important role, as does the freshwater quality, but ultimately, it’s the brewing method that plays the all-important final role! Moccamaster brewers are designed scientifically to naturally brew with an ultra-precise, pre-immersion drip-style system, which creates a natural pulse action process creating the perfect coffee bloom process. Moccamasters incorporate a powerful and energy-efficient copper heating element with an automatic shut-off when the brewing process is complete, and a precise coffee-water saturation time (4-6 minutes).

Designed by Riccardo Delisi, the Caffetteria con Cuore e Stelle (Coffee pot with heart and stars) is an enchanting work of art and design that celebrates one of the most brilliant examples of a poetic attitude to design. It is the reproduction of one of the over two hundred prototypes created by Dalisi during the design process that led to the production of his Neapolitan coffeepot in the 1970s, each one different from the last, and gradually more and more expressive to the point of losing any functional appearance and becoming pieces of art.

Look forward to freshly brewed, wonderfully aromatic coffee. The Zwilling Sorrento Plus French press not only makes doing so incredibly simple but in incredible style too. The French press is a coffee plunger that can also be used as a serving pot whose puristic design makes it a highlight on any table. It goes particularly well with our elegant Zwilling Sorrento cups, which, like this French press, are also designed by Studio Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez. Using this French press is especially easy: Freshly ground coffee is brewed in the press before the sieve is pushed downwards to push the coffee to the bottom. And thanks to its premium-quality, double-walled borosilicate glass, the French press keeps coffee hot for especially long.

We have had it for only a few days and do not have any complaints but have a question. The instructions say not to use ROor distilled water. The city water here in College Station TX has a high sodium content consequently makes terrible coffee. We use RO water from a local supplier. We had the smaller unit and used this water. When we moved from GG(treated river water) we have been using the RO for about three years with no ill effects. Our only other alternative is bottled spring water, expensive and makes so much plastic waste.apAny comments or suggestion s?. Sharon. College Station, TX. Sun Jan 03 2021
