Conventional salt & pepper mills often create mess by leaving excess grounds on surfaces when placed down. The innovative design also does away with a long central spindle for the grinding mechanism, which increases its capacity and makes it much easier to fill. To use, simply invert the mill and twist the base to grind.

Great quality little set! 5" seems much smaller once you're holding it. Holds the perfect amount for a table top grinder.
