I bought the vent kit for the convertible vent hood in December 2022. My kitchen renovation is not finished yet, so I don’t have a review on the good or bad features. I wanted to have a recirculating system so my contractor didn’t have to cut a hole in my wall. This seems like a great option. The reason why I said it was pricey is the vent hood cost $900 +/-.
