The vase-like body of the Cait table lamp is made of striated ceramic in a lovely textural grass green. The paleness of this subtle hue is contrasted by the antique brass finish on the base, the hardware, and the orb-like finial. This piece is topped with a tan sand linen shade.
I purchased these lamps for our bedroom. I loved the shape and the height. They really do look like a work of art. The color of the lamp is more accurate in the description, which is “grass green” than the online picture, which looks like a patina. I think the patina would have been a little more my preference, but the green is still really lovely in person. The shade makes the light a soft yellow in color which feels soft and warm. I was actually able to see the lamp in a showroom after I ordered it, so I knew what to expect. I saw several lamps from Currey and Company there and ended up ordering the Stellata lamps for our guest room. I would highly recommend this lamp. One note on the packaging: the styrofoam in the box broke easily when I tried to remove the first lamp. The foam got everywhere and made a huge mess in my house. I would recommend opening both ends of the box and gently sliding the lamp out, then putting the foam back together and putting it in the box to dispose of it. I would not recommend breaking up the foam to recycle the box or it will make a big mess.. Charmaine. Thu Apr 30 2026
