No issues after several rounds in the dishwasher, looks better than pictured

Initially this seemed like a really great solution to using the S'well traveler as a travel mug. However, it has a major design flaw that appears to occur unless the lid is absolutely bone-dry when you put it on. If the inside of the lid is even a little moist, the lead leaks through the threads. Have been finding mysterious drips of coffee all over my shirts.

I bought my traveler a few years ago. However, I never liked the lid. If the cup is full, there’s no issue. When it’s not, my nose constantly hits the flip tab, often getting a little coffee on my nose. I hate this lid so much I’m throwing the whole thing out.

Plastic closure on lid broke off after about one year of use. The metal cover that comes with the bottle seems much more durable.

I purchased 2 Commuter Lids this order. Now I have them on all 3 Travelers. I like that they’re leakproof. I do use my Swells Bendy Straws as I’m in the taxi rides. But once I’m not moving in the van I’m just using the lid without the straws. I don’t have any messes if they tip over. No spills…yay. These lids look similar to my older style Swell had a few years ago.
