The sports cap is an amazing alternative to the normal lids, but I feel like they could have been more creative with the design to make a more efficient working lid. 1: it is not leak proof at all so I can’t use it anywhere except home as I cannot put it in a purse or backpack 2: it’s hard to clean. The ridges attract a lot of build up that I literally have to chisel off lol (yes I wash this twice a week) 3: the worst part by far is the blue plastic ring inside. The ring ends up in the wrong spot sometimes and blocks water when you’re trying to drink. It does it so often that it’s now stretched out and impossible to keep in the right spot unfortunately. This is the most annoying part of this lid Please make a sport cap 2.0 or something with all these issues fixed :-)

I have to admit I kinda stop using my S’well bottles because arthritic hands made it a challenge to open and close the top. I ordered these for both of my bottles and now I have them at my side all the time. The handle has put this a cut above my old reusable bottles, too.

Seems I got a lemon. My sport cap’s threads don’t fit my original S’well bottle. Hopefully I can trade it in for a good one.

This is perfect for a mom on the go! Kids can use too. This has saved many spills. So easy to use. Better that my Tupper microwave set. Way to go designers!

I know in the Q&A it says these caps specifically do not work with S'ip bottles, but I decided to get one anyway and try it because it's easier for my pre-school age son to use these caps with the smaller bottles. I figured I would just use it for my own S'well bottle if it didn't work on his. It fit perfectly! He has a 10 oz S'ip by S'well bottle and no leaking, no issues at all. It's easy to remove the cap that comes with the S'ip bottle and replace it with this one. So in case there are any parents out there looking for the answer to this question-it DOES work! I would just caution you that it isn't a "throw in a backpack" type cap because if something hits it the wrong way it will click open and leak.
