My wife and I really like this lamp and appreciate Wayfair replacing the damaged lamp so quickly. Original Review: The mica on the lamp shade was damaged in several places. The packaging was perfect and the shade was probably damaged before it was packed. Second, the paint which covers the dragonflies on the base looks very good when the base light is off, but looks thin and poorly applied when turned on. Very unique... I spend time staring at it...I am messing around with different types of bulbs. DISCUSTING quality control for 1 lamp with a black shade!!!!! It all started with the shades: I received a single shade WITHOUT the base so I called Wayfair. The SECOND lamp never showed but a second SHADE arrived WITHOUT the base AGAIN !!!! but his shade was damaged. Then after yet another call to WAYFAIR to get a complete lamp the base finally arrived but it was damaged and not assembled correctly plus this shipment was shipped WITHOUT a shade even though the packing slip noted a shade had been shipped. To make matters worse when I requested a replacement lamp base to replace the first damaged base when the second base finally arrrived it ALSO HAD THE SAME DAMAGE and poor ASSEMBLY ( lopsided on the pedistal base and incorrecly inserted crystal cube) as the first lamp base!!!!! NOW I have to call WAYFAIR yet again to get this matter settled...and hopefully receive a third base in excellent condition so I can install this $ 700.00+ lamp for my patient client !. Deborah. This is a stunningly beautiful table lamp. Thankfully it is slightly smaller than I had pictured it to be. It fits perfectly on our sofa table In the photo that I took, the glass appears to be warm colors, but in real life, the colors appear to be slightly cooler. The lamp shade could not hold itself. Each time turning it on by pulling the chain, the shade falls down. The chain is at the right side of the lamp not as shown on the website photo, the left. Nutmeg bands circle the top and bottom of the shade and cast dragonflies on the base dance around a mosaic inlay on the Mahogany Bronze base. The lamp is ideal as an illuminating accent piece for credenzas, occasional tables, and other spaces in residential and hospitality settings. The lighting design is inspired by dragonflies in marshes and ponds throughout the US, from the Florida Panhandle and Everglades to the Alaska wetlands.
