Nice looking body but poorly executed lamp. It is very, very tippy with three thin misplaced pads on the bottom. I needed to buy materials to make it more stable. Also, the silver colored metal is cheap looking and poorly finished. The shade is also cheaply made, and the finial is plastic, not glass or crystal. All in all, I expected it to be better constructed and more elegant looking for the price. Also, the FedEx delivery was dreadful- took 15 & 16 days, with differing and constantly changing delivery dates communicated by both Perigold and Fed Ex.
