These steak knives are a good match for the Ginkgo International Le Prix flatware set, which doesn't provide a steak knife. For the most part, I am happy with the look and feel of the knives. That being said, the handles are not wood, even if the specifications say so. Also, I question the "dishwasher safe" rating. I am very pleased with the quality of this knife set. It is a little small for my hand however, it is  a high-quality piece of cutlery. I am using it to cut my potatoes tonight. This is a very lovely set! The Carvey, knife and fork has a very comfortable handle and it is stylish looking. The cutting board is large, and is very comfortable to use.
