Received my Global knife set today and I have to admit that I’m impressed with the magnetic easel. All my previous knife sets have come with a knife block, but I love how accessible the knives are with the easel. It has a modern and sleek look while still being functional. Also the easel takes up minimal space on the counter. The only drawback I see is that I’m not sure it will house as many knives as the block. I Absolutely LOVE these knives!!! My husband and I bought these knives as an anniversary present for ourselves and thought we'd splurge. I will never go back to other knives. These are sharp. I have zero issue cutting thins slices of tomatoes, thick tough chunks of meat, these knives glide through them all like warm butter. I've actually started cooking more at home since we got these blades because prepping isn't such a chore any longer.
