We have had it for only a few days and do not have any complaints but have a question. The instructions say not to use ROor distilled water. The city water here in College Station TX has a high sodium content consequently makes terrible coffee. We use RO water from a local supplier. We had the smaller unit and used this water. When we moved from GG(treated river water) we have been using the RO for about three years with no ill effects. The CDG Pour-Over Coffee Brewer features a glass carafe and an automatic drip-stop brew-basket that stops the flow of coffee if the carafe is pulled away. It brews a full 40oz pot of coffee in six minutes. Coffee is then held on their unique hot plate; which is engineered with a separate, independent element that rolls heat into the coffee to ensure an even taste from the first cup to the last drop. The hot plate has two settings, giving you the choice to hold your coffee at 175° or 185° F, while never burning your coffee. After 100 minutes, the hot plate will automatically turn off.
