We've had a Bosch dishwasher for over 10 years and have never had a problem, so I was leaning towards believing the "hype" that accompanies this brand in the U.S. I bought the Bosch. This thing is somehow dignified. It looks almost regal shoved into its little corner of our kitchen. It's quiet, the icemaker actually works without scaring the entire household with little grinding explosions every 45 minutes and the temperatures in the refrigerator and freezer stay consistent. This is my first GE appliance; it replaces a Frigidaire model. I like the GE much better because it is quiet and stylish. In addition, I like the LED back light, the separate convertible drawer which I use to keep my avocados, peppers, and cooked turkey fresh. I love the water pitcher on the inside door. I love the app that allows me to control features on the fridge, and it alerts me when the ice maker tray is full. The app also records the ounces of water dispensed; I love it! I saw that some reviewers mentioned that the water in the pitcher is not cold; my water is stone cold. What you may have to do is turn off the autofill feature so that it does not dispense more tap water into the pitcher of cold water before you have consumed it all. This refrigerator is very stylish. We bought a counter depth.They are smaller but this one is very well appointed. The drawers slide so nice. Has a Deli drawer and a Butter keeper. Which most refrigerators no longer have. Helps to keep everything organized.The freezer has 2 drawers and really nice wire shelves on the door that bend out.
