This refrigerator is very quiet. I can hear it running only when I am standing right beside it. I also love the inside lighting.

We have had a lot of defects with this unit. We've had to replace the freezer handle twice , the top plate on the freezer has chipped off in various places- with this issue we were under waranty BUT they told us this is not considered performance only cosmetic so they couldnt help us out. We ended up gluing the pieces back in place. We had to glue down the refrigerator handle. This unit is also VERY loud. I always thought GE was good for their product BUT this one has definitely been a lemon. I would not recommend this unit.
