Finally a really good small coffee maker. The coffee is strong, very hot, and delicious. I bought one with pods and while the pods weren't bad, when I used the "pod basket" to use my favorite beans, it was horrible. The water passed through so quickly it looked like tea and tasted very weak. The Cuisinart 5 cup is perfect. Couldn't taste better!

I like the coffee pot, however the description says thermal carafe, but it really isn’t as it’s not insulated. It’s a metal carafe that needs a hot plate to keep it warm for an extended period of time.

Excellent small coffee pot - Cuisinart quality, and the stainless steel carafe helps keep the coffee hot. It's easy to clean, too, and just the right size for us.

As I single person this is one of my best purchases. Blends in with my kitchen decor and the perfect size .I absolutely love this product. I have suggested it to my friends.
