Beautiful, comfortable to use and very sharp. I bought this to replace my old Wusthof classic santoku that the handle deteriorated after 30 years of being put in the dishwasher. (I’ll be handwashing these.) The price for the set at Wayfair was lower than anywhere else I looked. I had some confusion about the length of the larger knife’s blade. The Wayfair description says 6” and I was worried that it would be shorter than the one I was trying to replace. But, the new Ikon knife blade actually measures 6.75” and is exactly the same as my old classic santoku. I’m very pleased to have these knives.. Sbb. CA. Tue Sep 22 2026

Alway happy with Wostof knives was gifted one 25 yrs ago I still have it. Works too not as sharp but still cuts bought another one from WS. 15 yrs ago great quality..so now I have a full set from wayfair. As I always do I remind myself knives are extremely sharp and you will lose a finger if not careful while cutting tomato. I promptly slice my finger open. EVERY TIME! new knives no exceptions.. this time it was my third finger down . Everyone thinks I’m flipping them the finger now I use magnets to hold my knives easily accessible. Abbella. I waited too long to pull the plug on obtaining good knives. I'll have one more to buy, the next size up from this one so I don't have to use the chef knife or this knife for cutting a large apple. They are great to handle, very sharp, and obviously well made. Glad I didn't keep waiting. My other knife was cheap and old and I couldn't sharpen it anymore. Very happy, but also now really paying attention because it is extremely sharp. I cut a lot of raw ginger and sometimes the knife would slip. I don't want that with this one.
