A paleontologist’s model of a Tyrannosaurus Rex was reimagined into a jeweler’s masterpiece. The entire piece is first carved in clay over several months, molded in pewter, and then finished in 18K gold. The multiple parts are individually fitted together and riveted to the faceted white marble base. Thin layers of transparent amber enamels are applied to highlight the dinosaur’s bone structure and hand-set with 2,000 dazzling Swarovski crystals. Our finest artisans at the Jay Strongwater Rhode Island workshop bring all the elements together to make each Barnum Tyrannosaurus Rex Figurine. Limited to a numbered edition of 100.
This figurine captures the majestic allure of the prehistoric world with a touch of artistry. Crafted by Jay Strongwater, this Tyrannosaurus Rex is a masterpiece of handmade and hand-painted design.

This is a slice of fossilized dinosaur bone with one side polished to a mirror finish. This specimen is a fossilized dinosaur bone in which the original fossil material has been replaced by silica, exposing the inner cell structure of the bone. The impurities within the silica are how this piece gets its color. Because this process happens at a sub-cellular level, it leaves the internal structures intact, creating a beautiful display piece. You will receive the exact object in this photo with an acrylic display stand.

Ptychopariida is a large, heterogeneous order of trilobite containing some of the most primitive species known. The earliest species occurred in the second half of the Lower Cambrian period. Trilobites have facial sutures that run along the margin of the glabella and/or fixigena to the shoulder point where the cephalon meets the thorax. These sutures outline the cranidium or the main, central part of the head that does not include the librigena (free cheeks).
