Very thoroughly packed x2! This is a rugged, solid piece. Nice detail, including the skulls internal upper pallet. Nice weight! Very good looking. I would say you could put the measurements from back of skull to tip of nose anywhere from 19.5"-19.75" This is a large skull! The only thing I would not say about it is that it is black. It has the kinda standard dino bone patina. The bottom jaw and stand are separate when you open the box. Instructions included. The bottom jaw attaches to the top by two, strong bolts(mount points assure you are solid against the top of the skull) and the stand has a nice threaded pipe that finishes the mount. If you look at the average T-Rex skull being @5 feet long then this is about a 1/3 scale replica! Probably needs a little dust/dirt clean-up when it comes out of the Styrofoam, but with a little vacuum and a moist washcloth...maybe a toothbrush, a real conversation piece! Very pleased with this work of art! It will go with my collection....as partially seen in the pic.

This by far is the best talking piece you can ask for. Its sturdy and adds character to any room
