Kidney-shaped desk with gilt-tooled black leather top.  A high-end antique reproduction with variegated walnut cross-banded raised panels, solid oak drawers, and black leather inset top.  This kidney desk sits on two pedestal cabinets and a privacy panel. The generous privacy panel features a removable rear panel, revealing a storage area suitable for a large surge protector or monitor lift. The top of the desk has a large hinged trap door with a half-moon cutout for cable management. The desk has graduated drawers on the left, two pencil drawers, and a large storage area on the right.  The doors and drawers feature finely decorated brass pulls, which were crafted using traditional lost-wax casting techniques.  The desk is a medium golden brown, which coordinates well with walnut and mahogany. The lightly distressed finish on this desk is the result of a meticulous, multi-step process that creates a warm, patina-rich appearance resembling a period piece.  The finish is forgiving, easy to touch up, and suitable for active families.   The glazed black leather top has warm undertones and gilt tooling. Inside the privacy panel, we've included and attached a removable solid wood mounting block, which has been sized and designed to accept a Nexus 21 Model L-23 monitor lift. The NEXUS lift is NOT included in this item.

This review is for the executive desk that had to be return for a manufacture issue. The tram jad to spend some time to dismantling it, so I actually could chat with them. This desk has a nice detailed open base with a unique curved top. Perfect for open spaces like a bedroom. Made with Rosa Morada, a very fine wood from Mexico. This desk has adjustable gliders for any type of flooring.

Very expensive desk/ took FOREVER to get in. Quality is mediocre. Had many cracks in the wood and splits beyond the “distressed look” described. Also had a moldy looking dust. The drawer was a different color than the desk and brass was gold not aged bronze as shown. Definitely looks like an inexpensive important from Mexico- as apposed to a high- end solid wood desk. Not work $3000 although Wayfair did the right thing and compensated to have the desk repair. Overall would not recommend for the price Again- love Wayfair for ease and time but quality control feels like the products are @seconds” and shipping is almost always an issue. S. AL. Wow!!! This desk is gorgeous! The quality is unbelievable and we love how well the drawers are set up for storage/organization. We have a back den space in our great room and this piece looks so handsome in front of the built-ins. The desk is extremely heavy (400lbs) so you may want to at least keep that in mind.
