This kit offers up a pool on the top of each basalt rock. Because of the slight depression on the tops of the babblers, these fountains attract birdlife and showcase the water pulsing out. These three rocks can nook into one another or remain offset in multiple combinations. These pillars include the Caldera 36", Hollow Springs 25", and the Klamath Basin 16" rocks.

This group defines striking and assertive. These semi-rectangular irregular faces can be arranged to accentuate their blockiness or to harness the power of creating a visual “wedge” in one’s view. The water slides down over some of the faces on these rocks in smoother sheets than in some of the other styles. This double combination starts with the 34” angled five-sided column with a shorter 24” rock of the same design. Their clean lines relate them in a symmetry that is pleasing to the eyes and ears.

I love the river falls fountain!!!!!! It is suggested that this fountain top is not left outside in the winter. Once the top fills with water and snow and freezes, the top may crack. All fountain bases should be raised up off the ground in winter so they will not freeze to the ground surface. Ideally, a fountain should be stored indoors in the winter away from the elements. However, if a fountain bowl must be left outside, remove all pumps, rubber stoppers, drain pipes, finials, and small components, cover the top with burlap or any absorbent material, and then wrapped with dark plastic, making sure that water does not accumulate in the basin and freeze. Fountain pumps, finials, and other small components should be stored indoors. Check the fountain periodically to ensure that the cover is secure and water is not accumulating in any fountain component.

While the high firing temperature and quality of their glazed and terra cotta containers result in a durable and frost-resistant product, they still recommend that they are stored in a frost-free covered area in winter. If left outside, water may accumulate in the container and freeze, causing the planter to crack and break. I really love the look of this new fountain ! Smaller than my last one & easy to clean but cleaning out the motor area is more difficult because the space is hard to reach into. I now suction out the water like people do for their aquariums, brush it then flood out the water a couple times then refill . My neighborhood birds love to bathe in it daily when it is on & I do clean it weekly & add algaecide every other day too. I chose the Aged Limestone color...it was very hard to decide without seeing in person because of the many choices. It goes nicely with my new Aged Bronze LED garden lights also. Eloise. Eloise. The fountain is beautiful. We think of it as a modern classic, and we frequently receive compliments from neighbors and guests. The one drawback was that there were a few scratches when we received it. Be sure you have at least two people to move the two pieces around. The total weight is well over three hundred pounds.
