Excellent fountain. The whole experience was top notch. The delivery was made without a hitch. Everything packaged on a pallet that was secure and safe. It is very heavy, so a lot of help is needed to move it into position. The fountain comes with everything you need - Pump, hoses, and even a canister of touch up if needed. We did not need the touch up. Very easy to assemble. The instructions are very easy to follow. You will need an out door outlet to plug it in. Just a regular plug is fine. Make sure you have a solid foundation for where the fountain will rest because this fountain is the real deal. It is not a decorative, cheap, plastic knock off. More impressive than the photos. Directions we very explicit and fountain easy to assemble. My wife and I used a shoulder dolly on the upper part. The Beauvais fountain is a beautiful piece, exactly as depicted. Perigold was very helpful in coordinating the delivery and what to expect. The assembly instructions from the manufacturer (Campania International), left a lot to be desired… but I was able to email them for clarification on what the completed assembly of the copper tubing In the upper urn should look like after following the vague instructions. Also, they left out a needed stopper in the shipment. Without this piece, the fountain would not hold water. There was no mention of this extra stopper in the assembly instruction's, but I was able to call Perigold and Campania international to report the issue, and they sent the stopper. Actually, this stopper allows draining, cleaning, and refilling the fountain an easy task… but again no mention of that… which should be a great a great selling point. So, the service up to that point was great. 4 days later, I emailed the manufacturer about an issue where the pump was tripping the GFCI outlet. They were not as helpful with the trouble shooting. I managed to figure out and resolve the problem myself, which turned out to be the plug attached to a timer was getting wet. I had to encase that connection in a plastic bag, and the problem was resolved… but it would have been nice for them to help with the trouble shooting. This last experience makes me question what kind of support I will get going forward. So far, I do love the fountain and have no regrets about purchasing. Love it . the copper got bent taking out of box and setting up and reached out for a replacement piece. The company reached out to clear the replacement order and they would provide replacement for 60 usd. I canceled the replacement order online but I’m not sure that it showed up in the system correct as the fountain company reached out to me daily for a week telling me to cancel . This is a very new and exciting addition to Galaxy Fountain line-up! First off, it's back-painted like usual Galaxy Fountains with two important additions. On Stained Galaxy Series, use generous amounts of a special paint that utterly duplicates the brilliance and luminosity of old-fashioned stained glass, but without the inherent problems that would exist using stained glass with water. Second, if you look closely at the front of this new fountain, you'll see the addition of texture! The "caning" on the front (the lines that separate stained glass panels) is a polymer instead of lead and to quote someone famous, that's a good thing. That's why you don't see a lot of stained glass fountains until now. Lead and water not so hot fountains have the beauty of stained glass but without the lead or the cost. Lots and lots of possibilities here!

It is suggested that this fountain top is not left outside in the winter. Once the top fills with water and snow and freezes, the top may crack. All fountain bases should be raised up off the ground in winter so they will not freeze to the ground surface. Ideally, a fountain should be stored indoors in the winter away from the elements. However, if a fountain bowl must be left outside, remove all pumps, rubber stoppers, drain pipes, finials, and small components, cover the top with burlap or any absorbent material, and then wrapped with dark plastic, making sure that water does not accumulate in the basin and freeze. Fountain pumps, finials, and other small components should be stored indoors. Check the fountain periodically to ensure that the cover is secure and water is not accumulating in any fountain component.

I got the limestone version of this fountain, and it looks absolutely perfect where I have it. It fits the Italian aesthetic of my home and backyard beautifully, and the limestone was definitely the right choice. One thing to be aware of is the sound. The water drops about two feet, so it produces a fairly loud "faucet running" sound. That's inherent in the design, and I'm looking at some simple ways to soften it a bit, possibly with a small rain chain. Other than that, I couldn't be happier with how it looks. I also retrofitted a light into the basin, attaching it to the underside of the upper splash palette with cement adhesive. I ran the light cable out through the rear silicone plug alongside the pump cable, and it worked beautifully. Everything is nicely watertight and the light really adds to the fountain at night. One suggestion if you do something similar: I'd use a little silicone sealant around the cables where they pass through the plug. It's an easy extra precaution to make sure you maintain a watertight seal. My only real complaint is the absolutely insane amount of packing material. I certainly appreciate that the fountain arrived in pristine condition, but the shipping container was probably three times the size of the fountain itself. When it arrived, I actually thought I'd ordered the wrong fountain. It was so enormous that the guys helping me move it were making fun of me for buying such a ridiculously oversized fountain. Opening it up and discovering that it was, in fact, the fountain I'd ordered was a great surprise. Cleaning up afterward was not. There were four wooden pallets, packing hay everywhere, additional concrete packing material, and a mountain of plastic wrap. It took me about half a day to clean everything up, and I eventually had to get a city crew to haul away the remaining packaging. That said, the packing clearly did its job. The fountain arrived in perfect condition, it looks fantastic, and I'd absolutely buy it again. Five stars for the fountain. Maybe three stars for the adventure of unpacking it.. Robert. Oakland, CA.
