Brindille meets steel with multi-faceted "twigs" forged from red-hot round bar stock hammered for texture and shape by our Vermont artisans. The twigs create the illusion of supporting the round shade that the sculpture hangs beneath.

Well, the light is beautiful. It is a nine out of 10 on the difficulty scale to put together. I ended up using very large wrenches and clamps to twist and move the bars which are steel and hard to move so that the alabaster stone pieces could be installed. I believe there was 104 screws that had to be installed and less than about 10 fit. The rest of these were all off slightly because of the smaller holes in the alabaster. It was also a problem as I screwed them in, and it would get crossfeed as you try to unthread it then the round cap on the outside of the small screw would unscrew and it became even more difficult. I think the fit finish of it is atrocious, but once I spent about 5 1/2 hours Installing the pieces, the hanging light itself is beautiful.. Jerry. Colorado. Mon May 19 2025

Our chandelier, designed by Clarence Mallari, has an unusual accent on its fabric shade created by the twine panel made from recycled paper that is twisted and tightly wrapped around a metal frame. The panel made from sustainable material, which is affixed to the center of the shade, is then coated with a sealant to protect it from moisture. The beige chandelier is suspended with aircraft cable and has a sugar-white finish on the interior of the shade, which brightens the light.

With a band made from recycled paper that has been twisted like braided hair, the Monreale oval chandelier has an ultra-contemporary cleanness to its design.
