Very attractive light for my dining room table.

One of my favorite lights for over a kitchen/ dining table have used it in white / orange and silver. Its a solid shade so no light comes through the shade. Create a nice light pattern on the ceiling.

The light brightens up our breakfast nook. It was relatively easy to assemble and is a good quality product. It hangs pretty low, however that is not a problem for where I have it.

I fell totally in love with this light fixture when I found it and planned my whole lighting scheme for a home remodel on it. I was so disappointed when the light was terribly glaring from the polished nickel liner. The light bulbs totally reflect in the silver liner and glare right into your eyes. It is such a shame and such a disappointment. I'm surprised they didn't catch this flaw at the design level.

The great thing about this product is the HUGE drum shade. It is almost 2 feet in diameter, which is hard to find. It makes for a big statement, and a very beautiful modern or mid-century look. It is also very clean looking - not too many flourishes or decorative details, which really works in my type of house.It was also packed very nicely, and there was no damage at all to the shade, even though it shipped to the other side of the country.The BIG problem with this shade is in the INSIDE of the shade. It is made of some kind of reflective or mirrored material. So, the light inside bounces off of the mirrored material and sort of scatters in all of these wierd directions (like a stationary disco ball). It would have been much better if the inside was plain white like the outside. I have now sent this shade to a lamp-repair shop, to be recovered with white on the inside. It will cost me another $150.

I absolutely love this pendant the only thing is the color is deceiving it looks more lacquer and glossy in the picture than it actually is but I still love it. Would be 5 stars if it was actually lacquer.
