It doesn’t exactly set straight. And it’s very small-scale, maximum bulb wattage is 40. But it did warm up the dark corner of our eclectic Dining Room. I could see it used as a piano light - off to the side, or maybe as a pair of lamps with a vignette of armchairs and a chess table. It arrived in tip-top shape, packaged well, and easy to set up (no assembly required other than figuring out how to put the lamp shade on. Do handle it delicately.. Tara. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this lamp - it seems to be real brass, not that cheap looking “brass finish” that everything seems to have these days. It is a beautiful genuine brass color and already has a slight patina that I think will age beautifully. I tried to capture the finish in the photos. The assembly was quick but really sturdy. It’s a really beautiful, high quality, well made lamp and I’m so glad I didn’t settle for a cheaper one which I almost did. This was definitely worth the price.. Lauren.
