It doesn’t exactly set straight. And it’s very small-scale, maximum bulb wattage is 40. But it did warm up the dark corner of our eclectic Dining Room. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this lamp - it seems to be real brass, not that cheap looking “brass finish” that everything seems to have these days. It is a beautiful genuine brass color and already has a slight patina that I think will age beautifully. I tried to capture the finish in the photos. The assembly was quick but really sturdy. It’s a really beautiful, high quality, well made lamp and I’m so glad I didn’t settle for a cheaper one which I almost did. This was definitely worth the price.. Lauren. This is a minimalist lamp. It is very simple to assemble and actually looks great. It is an LED lamp which I normally do not like but, This has a simple 2 touch in the back.
