I searched for a while for counter height stools for our kitchen. I liked these stools from what I could see on the website but really wished someone had left a picture with their review to see them in real life. They are the perfect seat height at our counter. The seat is comfortable and the back hits just high enough that you feel like you have support. The stools are sturdy too. These stools are much nicer in person than in the photos. The finish and overall look feel more substantial and refined. They’re actually quite comfortable even without the pillows, which surprised me. Since they’re primarily for show and occasional use in our home, I prefer the cleaner look without ties. That said, when we have company staying and the stools get more frequent use, I’ll likely add the pillows for extra comfort. I like the chair. My only complaint is that the chair should be priced right at what we bought them for. They look great, but don’t have the high end finishes of a 900 chair. I love when I make a good decision when online shopping. It’s always so risky! Well these chairs absolutely met expectations! They’re heavy and solid and the leather is great quality. Note: if you’re a larger person or are looking for a stool you’ll want to lounge in for hours this might not be the best choice. The chair width won’t accommodate really large people. And its depth isn’t deep enough for big people to get deep into the chair for long periods of lounging, plus the backrest isn’t really a back rest. Having said all that, I LOVE these stools.
