These stools are much nicer in person than in the photos. The finish and overall look feel more substantial and refined. They’re actually quite comfortable even without the pillows, which surprised me. Since they’re primarily for show and occasional use in our home, I prefer the cleaner look without ties. That said, when we have company staying and the stools get more frequent use, I’ll likely add the pillows for extra comfort. The pillow fabric is a neutral whitish-beige — very versatile — and they’re beautifully made with excellent craftsmanship. Very happy with this purchase.

Beautiful stool, very sturdy but color of legs is much darker in person than featured on the website so unfortunately didn’t work for our kitchen.
