This is a great piece. Its sturdy, very heavy with a great look.

Let me start by saying, Wayfair customer service is GREAT. This island is beautiful, but the construction is terrible. I paid 700 and I see that they raised the price to 900. This table isn’t worth 900. 500 Maybe. Why (1) The hole where you place in the screw into the island top fell out so I wasn’t able to put all of the screws in to connect the leg. (2) They sent me an island top with the nails sticking out. Very dangerous. (3) The additional shelves aren’t steel. They’re wood that’s been spray painted silver. I didn’t install the shelves. I think my island looks much better without them.

beautiful top block but the construction is shoddy, the wood is probably repurposed which I think is great, however the legs have many checks and cracks and the casters are very cheap, not rated for the weight of the table, there is a toxic odor and I'm not sure the butcher block is food grade, the metal shelves are strange..I should have bought a Boos, this client was not willing to wait. Its pretty so we ended up using it as an accent but for the price there are much nicer accent tables. as a kitchen island, I do not recommend. Sorry

BEAUTIFUL product - I love it so much. I was a bit weary when I first opened it because the grey shelves are not stainless steal as they appear, but more of a brushed steel or wood like material. We decided to build it anyway because the block top was so pretty and it was the perfect size and I'm so happy we did! A bit darker than the picture but that works great with the other tones in this room, plus the quality is great - not cheap wood that feels easily scratch-able and looks fake. Wheels hide well.
