I have been looking for plates to coordinate with my existing set for the past year as my current set was custom made 20 years ago and my plates are diminishing. These will do just fine. They are a little curvy, almost like a bowl but not quite. I don't know if they can go in the microwave or not, one place said yes and one place said no. They are a nice green.
