I purchased the Quisinart steamer because I have been happy with all my Quisinart purchases, and this one did not disappoint. It begins steaming almost immediately upon switching it on, and the quality menu and cooking guide help to produce perfectly steamed food. I have had only one problem, and that is the plug that fits into the water reservoir. It is important to make certain that it is well fitted when you add water….if not, you will be mopping the counter.

I love this thing! I didn’t want to pay this much for a steamer but for the quality and the requirement of no plastic or toxins I guess you get what you pay for so it’s worth it. It’s very sturdy so I think it will last a long time. It boils 12 eggs in 8 minutes and cooks sweet potatoes and fish and veggies perfectly! And even oatmeal. I use it every day and the recipe book it comes with has so many new and great ideas and the ones I’ve tried so far have been delicious, easy and quick. I’m not much of a cook and this has given me the confidence to try recipes I normally wouldn’t.
