This product is not a direct to stud installation. Your description advertises it twice as a direct to stud installation. The direction that came in the box details that it must be mounted to drywall. There is no screw plate attached to the walls that would allow for a direct to stud application. it is a very nice product just not for the application as purchased leaving me to install a drywall surface first.
