The solid hardwood frame is completely covered in Old Brown leather fixed with upholstery tacks. The cushioned top is fixed to the base with a tufted buttoned Chesterfield pattern.

I ordered two ottomans. Both arrived damaged. While the style is great, the quality control was lacking on these pieces. Both had scuffs, one had a hole in the leather & they both were generally beaten up. The damage did not happen during shipping, as the box was in perfect condition and the ottomans were well wrapped.
