We love the chair. The delivery team flopped our box over and damaged the box. This we assume lead to the dysfunction of the chair.

Beautiful chair! My husband loves the size and it worked perfectly for his office. It was larger than expected and the leather is nice and soft, yet still firm.

Had a terrible delivery experience. The white glove delivery completely botched the assembly. After having me sign for receipt, I sat down in the chair and immediately a bolt fell out. Then the chair could not lean back but only slouched forward, and they installed the piston cover upside-down (so now the metal mechanism is exposed since the cover just sits at the bottom). I was able to grab them before they left and tried to explain what had happened, but the two men didn't speak English and could not understand. I showed them the bolt and they came back in to look at the chair. After a few minutes of them removing and replacing bolts, I tried to explain the mechanism was installed backwards. After finally showing them on the instruction sheet they understood and flipped the mechanism around. But did not fix the piston cover and not sure where the mystery bolt was supposed to go since they just pocketed it. All around, the quality of the chair is excellent and it looks great in my office. But I don't know if I have a faulty mechanism that was damaged during assembly, defective from the factory, or is simply a poor engineering design but I cannot at all lean forward or sit straight in the chair. I tried adjusting the tilt tension and using the tilt lock, but the chair does not seem to allow any forward tilt, which makes it a very comfortable chair to recline and enjoy a book, but a terrible chair for sitting at a keyboard or desk. If this were corrected and could figure out what is causing the tilt issue, then I could update my rating of the chair more accurately.
