Although a classic Style of Adams Brothers design, the top is plain and the stain is best described as muddy obscuring any graining pattern. I'm not convinced this is "solid mahogany" judging from the appearance of the underside of the top which looks like pressboard rather than solid wood. It's acceptable but there's no wow factor.
