Inspired by mosaic formations, the Byzantine placemat is made from hand-cut capiz shell tiles arranged in a circular pattern. It is on a wood backing and sealed with resin. It comes in two colors: Gray or Ivory & Gold. It is a versatile placemat and will work on many different table-setting themes.

A fresh take on the classic napkin, the Filament Napkin features long, floating embroidered stitching. These long stitches are reminiscent of the filaments in the center of a lightbulb. The gold and silver stitching lends an aura of formality and sophistication to a variety of table settings.

The placemats were packaged very well. In my opinion I don't think they look like leather, but they do have a nice texture. The front and back seem slightly different in the texture.
