I ordered this placemat for every day in black. They are very nice but I find them a little hard to clean after each use because of the texture. Otherwise they do the job.

The placemats were packaged very well. In my opinion I don't think they look like leather, but they do have a nice texture. The front and back seem slightly different in the texture. An 11" dinner plate barely fits on the placemat, so I think they could be larger.
