The placemats are very pretty but the smell of shellac on them is so strong. Like they were boxed up wet with shellac and then sat in a hot warehouse. I have tried many things to get rid of the chemical smell!

These woven chargers are nicer than most. The beading (I chose black) at the edges gives them a more substantial and elegant look than most. They are quite lovely and very versatile. Highly recommend.

Priced too high. But worth it if you can afford it.

Beautifully made product, packed with great care. The explanatory note about the construction (signed by the artisan) was a wonderful touch, too. Suddenly I can discern craft objects from mass-produced substitutes!
