This is a very beautiful wall clock, it looks modern and simple. The maroon and brass color suits my brown themed living room. It is a heavy duty clock. The instructions provided help you attach the hands that can come loose during shipping. After following those instructions the mechanism has worked perfectly. It’s quite a bit bigger than I expected, but also feels more thin and flimsy than other clocks I purchased. It also doesn’t feel vintage school house as depicted. I missed the part about it being made of plastic and assumed it was metal. I love the clock, and it would have looked beautiful on my wall. The only problem is that FedEx had mishandled my order, leaving large, gaping holes in the box.
