Inspired by the legend of Lady Godiva, an Anglo-Saxon noblewoman, who rode naked through the streets of Coventry, England, covered only by her flowing hair, to gain a remission of the oppressive taxation that her husband imposed on his tenants. Handcrafted or hand sculpted by local artisans from cast aluminum and finished in antique brass, the Godiva sculpture represents an unyielding dedication to society and willingness to sacrifice for the greater good.

Holding a gnarled limb in its contemporary grasp, the sleek black iron stand balancing the Vine sculpture creates our favorite juxtaposition, combining modern and organic. We harvest the pieces of wood that end up on these sculptures from the jungles of Asia, using as many pieces of each tree we pull from the forest floor as possible. The Vine sculpture is proof that there is beauty to be made, even with elements most people would see as castaways.
Very interesting piece and works on my table.. Barbra. Naples, FL. 2024-11-08 15:32:48
The toreros or bullfighters carry the significant duty of transporting bulls from the fields to the town square during the Spanish tradition of the Running of the Bulls. The Torero sculpture depicts a raging bull constructed of an antique nickel-finished cast. The faceted design is hand sculpted by local artisans and is supported by a black Morwarh marble base.

Animal kingdom. Our quietly welcoming stoneware vessels and sculptures merge elemental forms with subtle layers of pattern and decoration. Details are elevated by a soft satin matte finish. One adds a touch of couture craft to your console, or group the collection to give your shelf or mantel some modern menagerie magic.

A symbol of protection, the Mati is well known in many cultures around the world as the "evil eye." Two overlapping, concentric circles create the recognizable motif known to ward off evil spirits in the Mati sculpture. This stylized adaptation is crafted from textured cast aluminum bronze finished disks surrounded by an antique brass center. A matching antique brass stem fixes the sculpture to a cylindrical Vetlana marble base. The Mati sculpture is best shown in multiples to create a striking display.
This artisan of Ghana carves a sculpture that represents a traditional West African adinkra symbol and proverb. A bird is depicted with its head turned backwards, taking an egg off its back. The word sankofa in the Twi dialect of Ghana means to "reach back and take it"; in other words, to return to one's roots or take what is good from the past. The artisan carves the sculpture by hand from sese wood and decorates it with embossed aluminum plates and colorful paint.
