The Colony Hotel, Palm Beach's iconic "Pink Paradise" established in 1947, served as the epicenter of sophisticated social life for international jet-setters, royalty, and Hollywood celebrities. By 1961, the hotel had become renowned for hosting exclusive poolside fashion shows that showcased the latest resort wear to an audience of discerning socialites and fashion enthusiasts. These events represented the pinnacle of Palm Beach's cultural calendar, where guests could experience the latest trends while enjoying the hotel's legendary hospitality and stunning oceanfront setting that made it a favorite retreat for luminaries including President John F. Kennedy, Judy Garland, and Frank Sinatra. Slim Aarons, renowned for his evocative photographs of, as he described it, "attractive people doing attractive things in attractive places," was the quintessential chronicler of high society. After serving as a war photographer, Aarons turned his lens to a new landscape: the glamorous lives of Hollywood elites, Palm Beach socialites, and jet-setting debutantes and princes. His work for society publications captured an aspirational world of leisure and luxury that defined the American upper class throughout the mid-20th century, creating images that remain timeless symbols of sophistication and style. Every piece in our unique Slim Aarons collection is meticulously handcrafted using archival materials and printed on premium, luster photographic paper with environmentally safe inks, custom framed by skilled artisans who ensure that each work of art meets the exacting standards befitting such an iconic photograph.

This striking 14x14 inch abstract Fine Art Print on Paper presents a profound study in minimalist aesthetics and saturated color fields. Dominated by a rich, earthy brown, the artwork thoughtfully explores the nuances of this primary colour. The Fine Art Print on Paper is subtly bisected by a delicate, slightly irregular horizontal white line, creating two distinct yet harmonious brown segments.

Stunning picture, looks so real. It looks so much better in person. Very high quality product. It’s thin but not too fragile and weighs less than I thought it would. The glass does have a glare from my large windows but I love it. Great focal point and everyone that enters my house comments on it. I got the largest size as my mantle is huge. Well worth the money. I would highly recommend this product.. Tammy. Puyallup, WA. Fri Nov 13 2020
