Holmegaard
Back when Holmegaard was founded in the early 1900s, Jacob E. Bang was the company’s first creative director. He created the Primula collection, featuring beautiful glass vases in clear and colored mouth-blown glass. With its aesthetically pleasing shape and fluted pattern, the Primula vase looks particularly stylish on a dining table and complements any home. The simple, sophisticated look expresses a keen eye for detail. The vase is perfect for large bouquets of flowers but also makes a style statement in its own right.
The vase is beautiful. My third one in the Primula line from Holmgaard.. Merritt. Pepper Pike, OH. 2024-03-19 16:08:41
The spirits bottle has been synonymous with Holmegaard's glass design for many years. In fact, you could go so far as to say Holmegaard's bottle has iconic status. The beautiful glass bottle is made of mouth-blown transparent glass, which makes it particularly decorative with either whisky or cognac in it on the bar trolley. The body of the spirits bottle has three columns. There are plenty of bottles on the market with four columns, but very few with three. The very special glug-glugging sound when the liquid is poured from the bottle and encounters the air in the bottle’s columns is the reason for its name in Danish, the “Kluk” bottle! This a great gift idea for that very special occasion.
The Flora vase is made of clear, mouth-blown glass. The award-winning designer created the Flora vase based on the idea that fresh flowers need plenty of water. The spacious bottom blends beautifully with the long, slender neck, ideal for a long-stemmed flower.
Beautiful vase. Used it to make a faux floral arrangement.. Linda. Grand Rapids, MI. 2023-09-28 14:42:27
Forma is a product line with heavy sculptural constructions in solid glass, with roots in the historic Bauhaus era, where forms such as cubes, spheres, and cylinders serve as the primary shapes. Forma holds the same graphic strength in the form of massive geometric shapes that intersect. The strong language of the form works with the negative space around the construction and thus how the brain reads the fusion of the forms. The vase measures 7.9 inches and is made of pressed clear glass. The glass has a textured surface on every side, which gives a subtle contrast to the very strict geometric shapes. The vase stands beautifully as a sculptural and decorative centerpiece or sets together with other Forma pieces.
Beautiful, well made, heavy cut glass vase. Very pleased and impressed with quality of item. A perfect engagement gift.. Ann. Marlborough, CT. 2025-05-23 17:50:02
The elegant Old English solitaire vase in mouth-blown transparent glass is designed as an addition to the Old English range, developed in cooperation between floral artist Claus Dalby and Holmegaard. The range is based on the English garden tradition of sumptuous flower beds, where the flowers are given free rein to develop. With the narrow, long neck of the vase combined with its generously-proportioned bowl, a single-cut flower looks magnificent in it.
With ARC, the vision of Sebastian Holmback and Holmegaard was to create a stylish response to the romantic, highly colorful trend we are currently witnessing. The combination of a beautiful design line and Holmegaard's unsurpassed glass craftsmanship means that ARC stands out as a state-of-the-art reinterpretation of the vase. It invites nature inside in a completely new series of vases and flowerpots. The invitation is emphasized by the fact the mouth-blown, transparent glass almost extends the visual aesthetic with fresh flowers in the vase or a green plant in the flowerpot, so you capture the beauty of nature both above and through the glass. The large, 21-cm vase is your all-around vase for large bunches of flowers. The 15-cm vase is a sure winner for a handful of single stems. Both sizes look great on a table, a sideboard, or a windowsill.
In 1981, Jette Frölich made her first characteristic paper cuttings for Holmegaard’s Christmas bottle. Now, four decades later, Holmegaard’s Christmas collection has become a tradition and treasured collector’s item for many Christmas fans. This year, her reflections on the magic of Christmas have resulted in a beautifully illustrated Christmas collection for Holmegaard, in which Jette Frölich invites us to celebrate Christmas together. Frölich's 2022 interpretation of the atmospheric festive season beautifully illustrates the message of our common Christmas. It is all about home, and the illustrations on the bottle reflect that joy of anticipation when we cozy up indoors and get together with family and friends from near and far. On the front is a front door flanked by Christmas trees, lanterns on the steps, Christmas lights, snow, and a fence. On the sides, through the windows, you can see Christmas decorations, a Christmas tree, and presents. To emphasize the joy of anticipation, children are peeping through the window. There is also a touch of tradition and joy of anticipation for the grown-ups. Down the side there is a classic calendar, so day by day in the lead-up to Christmas, you can look forward to enjoying the contents of the bottle and, slowly but surely, approach 24 December.
A feeling of Christmas as in the old days. With artist Jette Frolich's nostalgic and masterful paper clips, Holmegaard Christmas invites you inside the Christmas kitchen, that vividly evokes a nostalgic, cozy Christmas atmosphere. Discover the iconic Holmegaard Christmas Bottle in the 2024 edition and enjoy the combination of Holmegaard's reflections in glass and Jette Frolich's original and artistic universe while you welcome Christmas with family and friends. The Christmas Bottle is 8.3" high and holds 24.7 oz—perfect for this year's homemade Christmas schnapps. In the 2024 motif universe, Jette Frolich takes us into the heart of the home: the kitchen. In December, the magic happens when we make Christmas cookies and other treats, which we have been looking forward to tasting and savoring since last Christmas. But the kitchen is not just a place where all kinds of Christmas treats are produced; It is also where we relax and spend time together. It is where we wrap gifts, light the Advent wreath and have a hot drink when the frost bites outside. Here, the baked goods come out of the oven smelling good; flour and sugar are on display; Christmas apples decorate bowls; and the coziness is completed with hyacinths in glass and Christmas wreaths in the windows. The Holmegaard Christmas Bottle is not dishwasher safe.
