Beautiful clock. It keeps great time, but chimes have never worked correctly. Manufacturer told us a clock repair shop to take it to. He thought it was a simple fix but decided the movement was bad. They sent him a new movement but it was bad also. So the clock has been in the shop for over 2 months and is still not fixed. I am very disappointed after spending so much on this clock.

We couldn't be more pleased with this lovelely, unique, and elegant clock..... LOVELY to look at and to hear the beautiful chime. UNIQUE.... you can watch the movement and the hammers strike at each quarter hour also the lantern-type handle. And ELEGANT.... the rich beauty of the wood and the the clock face. This piece is more expensive thant I wanted it to be, but worth making it a very special surprise gift for your spouse or loved one. And of course, a clock like this will last a life-time.
